Well, when you read the excerpts on the Bad Writer's blog, you quickly see that the novel in question is an extreme parody, and sounds quite funny. Although the green poop is a hard image to enjoy, also the orange ear wax.
Do you think the Editor of Harlequin Romance and her assistant really didn't realize that this isn't a serious attempt when they read it? But I guess they were right in that it was wasting their time.
Is there a market for that kind of parody novel though?
