I'd probably get a little whiny myself if that happened to me. (And I guess the fact that the new editor isn't a poet kind of adds insult to injury? But that's definitely a secondary issue.)froggynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2703861414547309188.post-63951086825881687142010-07-23T14:17:19.908-04:002010-07-23T14:17:19.908-04:00I happened across it and I couldn't look away,...I happened across it and I couldn't look away, or listen away, either, for that matter. All lit j's are edited by a select group of people with their own personal preferences. And one does not have to be an active poet to be a poetry editor anyway.

What it sounds like is a bunch of entrenched poetry professors getting scared that their gravy train is bypassing the station. Oh noes! Paris Review might actually publish an unknown poet under these new editors!dung-a-lungnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2703861414547309188.post-15503361902708364182010-07-22T20:29:08.521-04:002010-07-22T20:29:08.521-04:00like loollike loolAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2703861414547309188.post-57292602209563535742010-07-22T19:02:01.652-04:002010-07-22T19:02:01.652-04:00Re: photo, OMFG!Re: photo, OMFG!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
