We don't usually get children's literature rejections, but here's a good one. I love the greeting. Somehow the politeness of it seems rude.

be thankful you don't read children's lit slush. what adults think children will like reading is often far worse than what adults will submit for other adults. you don't want to send anything but a polite form letter for a children's book rejection, trust me.
