Yeah I had some kid on summer break put squiggles on a story I sent to The Paris Review. Grow up, I realise it was too complex for you, but don't scribble on my work! (Story has since found a gorgeous home in the prestigious Wasafiri magazine UK where the approval board includes Michael Ondaatje, Ngugi Wa Thiong'o and Nardine Gordimer, not some non-travelled brat wearing Abercrombie n Fitch). Sometimes rejection is a winner. ciao cat
