An LROD loyalist sent in this note from on a returned/rejected story submitted to the
Santa Monica Review. I guess the editor likes egomaniacal genocidal historical figures? The author of the story is taking the comment to mean, "Send more work." I think that's a good enough interpretation.

Any comment at all means "send more work."
Pretty sure the editor, a committed anti-fascist, meant the character of the egomaniacal genocidal historical figure was, as too-briefly rendered in the very promising story, worth more attention. Or perhaps SMR is considering doing a theme issue, featuring amusing Idi Amin, Mussolini, Pol Pot, Franco and Pinochet stories? (SEND) MORE DESPOTS! :)
