DAY SIXTY-FIVE (2 AM): COVID RASH AND LIST OF #COVIDSYMPTOMS IN WEEK ONE

Here is the list of symptoms that I wrote at 2 AM because there is no sleep apparently in week two. These are in order. Most lasted less than 24 hours, though my oxygen saturation varies a bit, and I still can't smell anything. I feel physically tired but physiologically jacked up: it's hard to explain.

 SYMPTOMS: WEEK ONE
  • Loss of smell
  • Loss of taste
  • Low oxygen saturation
  • Extreme fatigue Headache
  • Eyes tearing up when changing body position
  • Lack of appetite
  • Sore back
  • Sore spot between the shoulders
  • Burning muscles
  • Burning back
  • Stomach aches
  • Tingling numbness in hands and arms
  • Profuse bouts of sweating
  •  Red sore eyes with a feeling of sand in them
  • Cognitive issues (not sharp, don’t get things, loss of words, fogginess)
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Mania—a feeling of being revved or jacked up physiologically
  • Insomnia (never had before in my life/weird)
  • Skin rash all over (itchy and red)
  • Covid toes (very mild but itchy and a tiny bit red)
Because my spouse is immune compromised, we were being super careful. Masks, rubber gloves, wiping down everything that came into the house with bleach, wiping down the gate latches after packages. Somehow, I got it anyway. So, take this seriously, mice. Contagious as hell and no fun to have.  Look at it this way: I could be writing my novel.  I hope you are writing yours.
