Program Your Novel, Program Yourself

Galley Cat reports on a program called Write or Die that just might help you.  THe program is from Dr. Wicked's Writing Lab, and you can take it for a test spin here.  Or watch the YouTube video about it.

I guess it's about time for comment moderation...and I see you've even deleted comments that dropped hints about your ID. Good for you for exhibiting a little self-preservation. Plus, it's more climactic if you reveal yourself, instead of leaving it to wayward anonymice.

I love your blog, I just found it today. See, I was going to enter the fiction contest at narrative magazine, a magazine I don't really read, but why not enter, right? So I googled to learn more about it and I found your blog.

I have to say, from what I've read in narrative magazine, everything you mentioned about it seems true.

Apart of me is still naively hoping, you are just a jaded, crotchety old man and that if I enter through some divine intervention I can win, even though my writing isn't the "slice of life dribble" that's on there.

But I feel like all magazines are looking for that. Maybe you've addressed this before on your blog, but how in the hell does anyone who refuses to write cliches, make waves in the writing world?

LROD has had a bad troll problem lately. Good for you for getting rid of the infestation by FINALLY deciding to moderate comments. The rest of us thank you. Some douches want to spoil the fun for everyone.
